Canadians eliminate Hawks in four
It's over for the Hawkesbury Hawks who lost the fourth and last game to the Carleton Place Canadians Wednesday night in Hawkesbury.
The final score was 5 to 1 for the Canadians.
The Canadians scored the first goal of the first period with 1.2 seconds left on the clock. The Hawks evened the scoring at 3:53 of the second period. Then, it was all Canadians.
They scored four goals in the second period; three of them on power play. Their fifth goal was scored with less than 1 second left in the second period.
There were no goals in the third period.
